    My favorite burger shop.
    Their fish burger is DELICIOUS.
Their bacon cheeseburger is sooo good too.
I'm salivating as I type this.
They use crispy bacon, fresh meat, a lot of cheese and mayo
    "uggggghhhhh"
    (homer Simpson sound)

I came here around 6 on a Monday. I got the pastrami burger for $9 and split regular sized fries with my best friend Alex for $3. The cashier told us even the regular size was more than enough for 2 people and boy was he right!

Our food was ready in 10 minutes. My burger was amazing, honestly among the best in LA. It was juicy. The cheese had started to melt into the patty. The pastrami was tasty and plentiful. The 1000 island tasted like it had more pickle relish than your average 1000 island and I dug it. It was such an enormous burger I could hardly finish it to be honest. I think when I come back in the future I'll get just the regular cheeseburger because that's already so much food on its own. Incredible!

The fries were so-so by themselves. Kinda bland and devoid of any flavor. Was another story when we added some seasoning salt which was by the pick up window though. Pretty good fries with the seasoning, not so much without. Knowing now how enormous their burgers are, I probably will do just fine without fries during future visits.

I read quite a few reviews complaining about the cashier. I wonder if someone else was working when I came because he was totally fine with us. Actually he had not heard me ask for an extra 1000 island, so when I asked for it when our food was ready, he gave me some free of charge. I thought that was pretty nice!

    Summary:
    - amazing pastrami burger
    - underwhelming fries, decent when you add their seasoning salt
    - despite many other people on here, customer service in my case was all good!

New to Pasadena and searching for a favorite burger spot. This might be it. I had the cheeseburger and it was good. REALLY good. Like, up there with my favorite burgers I've ever eaten good. Cooked medium with a great char flavor, delicious sauce, melty cheese, a toasty bun, and just the right amount of toppings, I relished every bite and my mouth is watering as I think of it now. I'd even put it above In-N-Out, with the price only a little higher than a DoubleDouble. As a local business, I'd happily support it far more than my doctor would probably like.

So why 4 stars instead of 5? Like other reviewers mentioned, the young guy taking orders and serving seemed to be trying to be rude. Is it enough to make me not go? Nah, but if he's actually the owner's son hopefully poppa can sit him down and teach him that being nice leads to good things... like happier customers, higher Yelp reviews, and tips. Maybe sonny's always dreamed of being a painter or an astronaut, and this will be his chance to tell dad "the family business isn't for me! I have dreams of painting in outer space, dad, and your mouthwateringly delicious hamburger stand is suffocating me! Let me spread my wings and fly..." Pure speculation, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

In conclusion, Super Burger is pretty amazing. Be polite next time, and you'll be totally amazing.

In my never ending search for delicious burgers to gorge on in every city and neighborhood, I have come across a hole in the wall burger joint that I can be a regular at which says a lot because I'm rarely a regular anywhere since I'd rather try something new.

Holy moly I'm love with the double cheeseburger here. Not only is the burger delicious but it's also massive and cheap. Do some jaw stretches before tackling the double. It's a simple no frills amazing burger.

Now that's a damn good burger. I'm not really a fan of those fancy high end burgers with the fancy cheese and the fancy bread with the Kobe beef in a bougie restaurant. I would much rather order a well cooked steak at a place like that. But a burger? The best usually come from the mom and pop spots, just like Super Burger. The bread was nicely toasted from the grill. The beef patty was thick and juicy and not at all too greasy. The added bacon and avocado was the cherry on top adding a nice salty bacon-y crunch and smooth silky avocado. All together the burger was huge but damn tasty. It's a five star burger but it's an overall four stars for me. The extra charge for bacon and avocado is a bit steep and the customer service is not exactly the friendliest.
